Operation of Asylum Service

The Asylum Service informs the public, that in accordance with the measures for protecting the public health and preventing the spread of Covid-19, it can visit a Regional Asylum Services only after scheduling an appointment. This includes interviews and registrations.

Remote Interviews

The Attica Directorate of the Asylum Service announces the start of the program of conducting remote asylum interviews in Hosting Structures under its jurisdiction (initially Malakasa, Inofyta, Ritsona) in close cooperation with the First Reception Service, from Monday 19/4/2021.

This program will be supported, at all levels of the organization, by the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) and is expected to make a decisive contribution to further reducing the outstanding interviews of International Protection applicants.

Important news about Asylum Service Operation until 11/4/2021

The Asylum Service informs the public, that in accordance with the measures for protecting the public health and preventing the spread of Covid-19, it can visit a Regional Asylum Services only after scheduling an appointment. This includes interviews and registrations.

Regarding regional offices that operate within very high risk Covid areas, they are going to serve only urgent registrations, as well as lodging of appeals, whilst they will not conduct interviews until April 11th 2021.

Pick up of Travel Documents and Residence Permits/Regional Asylum Office of Attica

From Mondey, April 5, you will be able to pickup your resident's permit (ADET) and travel document from the Attica Regional Asylum Office. You can visit the office ONLY by appointment, based on the following weekly document pick up schedules:
