The Attica Directorate of the Asylum Service announces the start of the program of conducting remote asylum interviews in Hosting Structures under its jurisdiction (initially Malakasa, Inofyta, Ritsona) in close cooperation with the First Reception Service, from Monday 19/4/2021.
This program will be supported, at all levels of the organization, by the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) and is expected to make a decisive contribution to further reducing the outstanding interviews of International Protection applicants.
Finally, it is noted that the program of remote asylum interviews in Accommodation Structures, is part of the broader framework for conducting remote interviews, which has been started by the Attica Directorate, “Project South”, following the absolutely successful “Project North” program conducted by the Regional Services Directorate
