Final Decision of Rejection: Next Steps
We inform you that the procedures concerning your application for international protection have been completed. According to the decision of the Appeals Authority rejecting your application, your stay in Greece is no longer legal.
Therefore, all forms of material assistance to you (financial assistance, sheltering in accommodation facilities, accommodation in apartments, medical care) is DISCONTINUED and you run the risk of immediate arrest and detention in a pre-removal center (PROKEKA) for up to 18 months, pursuant to article 30 of law 3907/11, until the day of your expulsion from Greece.
Alternatively, returning to your home country through the Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration programme, run in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), is the most effective and secure option.
