VAT number for applicants of International Protection
In the context of the digital transformation of the asylum process and following the issuing of a Provisional Insurance and Health Care Number (PAAYPA), the Ministry of Migration and Asylum is issuing VAT numbers to third-country nationals that have a valid International Protection Applicant’s card.
R.A.O. of Thessaloniki: Urgent announcement regarding the travel documents' receipt
We would like to inform you that that in accordance with the measures for protecting the public health and preventing the spread of Covid-19, the scheduled appointments for delivery of travel documents at Thessaloniki RAO will not take place from Monday 8/3/2021 until Monday 15/3 / 2021.

The gradual relocation of International Protection beneficiaries to Germany continues uneventfully
During the interval February 24th - March 3rd 471 beneficiaries in total have been relocated to Hannover, Germany, through four charter flights, departing from Lesvos. In detail:
- On 24/2 122 people
- On 25/2 155 people
- On 3/3 106 people
- Στις 4/3 91 people
Such flights are part of the bilateral agreement between Greece and Germany, as a result of which Germany shall accept 1.553 people expressing its solidarity actively.
