Education

As a third-country national, knowing the Greek language and understanding the social and cultural characteristics of the country are valuable tools that may assist you in finding a job and becoming an integral part of Greek society.

You can enroll in Greek language courses in the following learning centers, some of which also offer general education courses for adults.

Operation of Asylum Service

The Asylum Service informs the public, that in accordance with the measures for protecting the public health and preventing the spread of Covid-19, it can visit a Regional Asylum Services only after scheduling an appointment. This includes interviews and registrations.

Remote Interviews

The Attica Directorate of the Asylum Service announces the start of the program of conducting remote asylum interviews in Hosting Structures under its jurisdiction (initially Malakasa, Inofyta, Ritsona) in close cooperation with the First Reception Service, from Monday 19/4/2021.

This program will be supported, at all levels of the organization, by the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) and is expected to make a decisive contribution to further reducing the outstanding interviews of International Protection applicants.
